Company Culture
At SALT we value our employees and are always finding new ways to create a balance between detailed and excellent work with quality time outside the office. We are a family of dedicated worker bees who know how to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients while understanding the necessity to prioritize our lives outside of work. We enjoy making time to celebrate small or large wins (often with food), and encourage each other to push creative boundaries and exceed expectations.

Hannah Toomey
Strategic Engagement Project Manager
Hannah is a Strategic Engagement Project Manager at SALT, and brings 10+ years of team leadership, project management, and customer service experience. She grew up in Anchorage and attended the University of Alaska Anchorage. After attending UAA for Politcal Science and International Relations, she worked for Apple for 11 years in Anchorage, and briefly worked in Cupertino, California at Apple headquarters.
Knowing that she wanted to remain in Alaska was a big part of her decision to make a career change, and she joined SALT in July of 2022. Hannah is thrilled to be part of such an amazing team and to work on inspiring strategic engagement and facilitation projects with Michael Fredericks. SALT's diverse offerings mean that there is never a dull day, and the work is always fun (and full of snack breaks with coworkers!).
In her downtime, Hannah enjoys adventuring around Alaska with her husband, Forrest, and two dogs, Ellie and Star.
What is a moment/project you’re most proud of professionally?
In strategic facilitation, there's often an "ah-ha!" moment or breakthrough. It is so rewarding and humbling to be present when a team discovers a new goal, finds consensus after a debate, or overcomes a barrier.
Yes, please! Walks with Forrest, Ellie, and Star.
No, thanks. Earthquakes.
Non-negotiables: Traveling, coffee, and a good (audio) book.
