Angie Burns
Controller + Benefits Coordinator
Angie Burns brings precision, heart, and over a decade of financial leadership to her role as Controller and Benefits Coordinator at SALT. Since joining the team in 2024, she has strengthened the firm’s internal operations—overseeing accounting, payroll, and benefits with care, clarity, and consistency.
A third-generation Alaskan with a strong background in financial systems and team management, Angie’s career spans roles in corporate finance, banking, administrative support, and even drafting. Prior to SALT, she served as Financial Controller for a professional services firm. Her hands-on approach and systems mindset ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Angie holds two bachelor’s degrees—one in Business Management and one in Accounting—from Western Governors University, along with certificates in HR Management, Applied Business Skills, and Management. She also earned an Associate of Arts from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
At SALT, Angie plays a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping the studio running smoothly. Her work supports the people who power our projects—ensuring that our systems reflect SALT’s mission + core values.
Away from the office, Angie spends a large amount of time gardening, baking, canning, reading, hiking, fishing, and hunting. In the near future, Angie, her husband and daughters will be starting a small farmstead so she can finally have mini cows.
