SALT provides Consensus Workshops as a way to come to consensus in a short period of time through a collective, integrated thinking process. Typical applications for a consensus workshop include:​

• creating a shared vision, goals, or objectives,

• agree on criteria for decisions,

• find common ground among parties with opposing views or perspectives,

• identify barriers or blocks to effective communication,

• motivate volunteers or team members,
